Why this bowl earns its place
A 140mm bowl is smaller than a full soup service but larger than a side dish, making it the natural choice for cereals at breakfast or fruit and yoghurt services. Vitrified porcelain means the clay is fired hard enough that it resists chipping through hundreds of dishwasher cycles, so replacements are rare.
The smaller diameter stacks more efficiently than larger bowls and travels easier on a loaded tray to the table. This size works well in properties where space is tight or where you want multiple bowl sizes in rotation—one set for hot cereals at breakfast, another for cold puddings at dinner.
The white finish sits neutral across any plating style, and the glaze is food-stable so stains and marking are not a long-term concern with normal service.
