Swansea backup.
Falcon has forged cooking equipment in Scotland since the 1850s — and it’s still built in Stirling. Heavy-duty ranges, fryers and griddles for kitchens that cook flat-out. Live prices below, every one + VAT.
The story
Falcon’s paperwork says 1819 — the Falkirk Iron Company, casting Scottish iron before Victoria took the throne. Cooking ranges followed in the 1850s, and two centuries later the kit is still made at Wallace View, Stirling. Very few brands on any British menu can say that.
Today Falcon is one of Britain’s largest catering equipment manufacturers — trade press toured the Stirling factory and said as much — and it sits inside the AFE Group under Ali Group, the biggest foodservice equipment family in the world. Translation for a working kitchen: build weight from a real factory, parts from a real supply chain, and model lines that don’t vanish when a marketing department gets bored.
Read the range like a ladder: Dominator Plus is the workhorse middle where most of the catalogue lives, Chieftain is the heavy-duty line built for a decade of abuse, and F900 is the premium suite for kitchens that want a cooking line engineered as one piece. The heartland is gas — fryers, griddles, ranges and hobs — which is exactly what the live catalogue below shows.

The range depth is measured from Craven Cooling’s Store API. Catalogue presence is not an availability promise.

Where Falcon earns its keep
Dealer judgement appears only where the existing guide corpus supports it.
Heavy-duty batch cooking
Chieftain is the workhorse our batch-cooking guide leans on — six burners running big stew pans through the afternoon, then switching to finishing duty at peak.
High-recovery wok and sauté
Chieftain recovery is what light-duty six-burners can’t match — drop a cold wok on it and it comes back fighting. That’s the difference between sear and stew.
One platform, several roles
One Chieftain six-burner with an oven base runs a complete signature menu: wok duty, sauces, service up top — braises and bakes cycling underneath.

Buying Falcon wisely
The Dealer’s Five — mined where the team has already written it, left visibly pending everywhere else.
Where does it earn its keep?
The heavy hot line: batch production, high-recovery wok and sauté, fryers that hold temperature through the Friday rush.
Who is the best-fit customer?
Gastropubs, bistros and dark kitchens — anywhere one six-burner-and-oven anchor has to carry the whole menu.
Where would we point elsewhere?
Light-duty and counter-top jobs (Lincat), refrigeration (Tefcold, Polar). Falcon is for the heavy hot line, not the till point.
Which range or model is the heartland choice?
The Chieftain six-burner oven range — the platform our own guides call a complete signature workflow. We’ll size the fuel and configuration to your site.
What do we know from experience about support and availability?
Stirling-built with Ali Group behind it — our guides spec Chieftain for a decade-scale duty cycle, and the factory is in Scotland, not a container away. We confirm the live lead time on every order.
